Party of a wife-time

What does marriage and the Indian cricket team have in common? Oh, so much! And when the two are put together, the combination throws up enough jokes to keep people laughing endlessly.
The audience was in splits during Wife Time Trouble, a comedy starring Barkha Bisht, Ashiesh Roy, Karan Mehra, Viju Khote, and Mamta Dutta.
The play produced by DS Pahwa and directed by Janak Toprani, is a hilarious take on the wonderful, maddening institution called marriage.If the first half had the men laughing, the second had women in splits. But, the jokes on the Indian cricketers got the most laughs.
Staged at Sheraton Park, the play was followed by a sumptuous supper where guests and cast members had much to share. Ashiesh Roy might have played the role of a troubled husband, but his performance could have bowled any maiden over.
