After his opening song, the Photograph singer shared how, until now, all his performances in India had been limited to Mumbai.“In 2015, we played in Mumbai. The next time we came, we played in Mumbai. And the next time, we played in Mumbai. So the last time, I said, ‘Why don’t we play anywhere else? From now on, let’s play everywhere except Mumbai!'" Expressing his excitement about finally performing in other cities, including Delhi, he went on to share his experience of exploring the capital while shooting for music videos, Sheeran said, “It’s amazing to see everything. We went to Old Delhi, and it’s been an incredible experience."

With just his guitar and loop station, Sheeran showcased his signature performance style-building songs in real time without backing tracks. Over the course of two hours, the 33-year-old singer delivered an electrifying setlist that included songs like Thinking Out Loud, Photograph and Lego House among many others.
In a candid moment before performing The A Team, Sheeran talked about his early days in music, “When I wrote this song, I really thought it would change everything for me, at first, no one cared, but gradually, it started to grow.” He went on to express his excitement about performing the song in Delhi, “It’s wild to think I’ve never been to Delhi before, let alone play a show here. And it’s super exciting to be discovering new parts of the world and playing this song because when I wrote it, I was playing in empty rooms, and now I can’t even see where the back of the crowd is,” he said.

Midway through Happier, Sheeran briefly paused his performance after noticing an audience member faint. Ensuring they received medical attention, he resumed only after confirming their safety.
During a touching segment, he dedicated Eyes Closed to his late best friend, sharing his feelings about the loss, “In five days, it will be the third anniversary of my best friend passing away.” Reflecting on his grief, he added, “For a month, I had hope. But at his funeral, I realised he was never coming back. That’s when I wrote this song.”

As the concert drew to a close, Sheeran saved two of his biggest hits for the final moments. Perfect had the crowd swaying in unison, but it was Shape of You that truly set the venue alight, with fans singing along to every word.
“These three weeks in India have been magical. Thank you for making me feel so welcome- I hope to be back soon,” with a heartfelt goodbye and a promise to return, Ed Sheeran’s India tour came to an end which was produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live.
