The much awaited campus fest of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore took place in Indore from February 14-17
th. Since the institute was also celebrating their decade anniversary, the celebration was bigger and better this time. The fest kicked off with ‘Kavyanjali’ – an evening dedicated to Hindi and Urdu poetry and shayris with acclaimed Dr. Rahat Indori taking the centre stage.
He enticed the audience with his famous couplets. Renowned poets from all around Indore including Sandeep Dwivedi, Surya Prakash Upadhyay, Rishi Dixit, Nitesh Kushwaha shared the stage with Dr Rahat Indori.
Second day witnessed various cultural and technical events throughout the day. The evening culminated with the first chapter of pro-nights – led by the band ‘The Local Train’. The students vibed along with their originals through the night. Numerous cultural events on campus marked the beginning of the third day namely – Hunkaar (Street Play Competition), The Voice of Fluxus, Stand-Up Comedy Event.
Alongside these events, many technical events were conducted too. On the penultimate night of celebration, Canadian EDM performer Miss Tara made the students groove to her beats and compositions.
The anniversary celebration on the concluding day i.e. February 17
th, began with an alumni meet called ‘Magnum Opus’ for all the IIT Indore graduates. After exchanging notes on where their lives and work – they joined the current crop of students in the final performance of Fluxus –
