Ekla Akash's team in Kolkata's club

Family versus career, this happens to be the plot of Sandipan Roy’s latest venture, Ekla Akash. Cast members Parno Mittra and Goutam Ghose, along with the director, came together at a city club to talk about the movie.
EA, says the director, is the story of Arijit and Nisha, juggling family, careers, love and infatuation. “It is a film that connects with the urban audience.The protagonists have put in their best to make their characters believable,” says Sandipan.
“I play Nisha, a doting mother and a dutiful housewife. Her life takes a turn when she meets her ex-professor (played by Goutam) and decides to act in films,” says Parno. Goutam Ghose, who returns as an actor after Baishe Srabon, says that the storyline depicts today’s domestic situation. “The desire to live a pompous life that leads to marital disruption,” he says.
