Amrita & Shakeel's sangeet party

This couldn���t have come at a more appropriate time. In these depressing times of recession, when Mumbaiites were desperately looking for some happiness, Amrita Arora, now Ladak, and Shakeel Ladak���s sangeet party on Thursday night gave everyone a reason to celebrate.
Spirits were high and soaring as the night rocked on and on and on with so many from Bollywood coming together, shaking a leg and lot more and letting their hair down!
l NAACH GAANA! The sangeet began post midnight, and even thought the bride and groom are from different professions, Shakeel���s family and friends didn���t feel one bit out of place in the land of Bollywood.In fact one of Shakeel���s friends grooved to a Bollywood number so well that onlookers actually thought him to be an actor! Rick Roy was another dancer who invited a lot of claps for his sexy moves, but it was clearly Arbaaz Khan who rocked the dance floor. Joyce and Anil, Amu���s parents, were applauded and cheered when they grooved to Disco 82. Bebo pushed a nervous Saif Ali Khan on to the stage for the Kajra Re song, and man, he moved and how! But when she pushed him up for their next performance ��� Tha Karke ��� he was kinda lost trying to find the right moves! Manyaata Dutt took to the dance floor with lots of josh and it seemed as though she was performing an item number! Sajid Khan was the host of the sangeet show, and like always put on a fabulous act... especially when he introduced Malaika Khan and her gang of girls who went up to dance as lady Keshto Mukherjee. The girls, who had practiced for days, were obviously annoyed!
Priyanka Chopra found company in Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, Zayed Khan, Mana and Suniel Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, Rhea Pillai, Ali Morani and Mushtaq Shaikh and designers Vikram Phadnis and Nandita Mahtani were also part of this dhoom-dhaam, glitzy-glamorous sangeet.
