To bawas and bawis with love...
Mumbai city’s bawas’ and bawis’ love for footballer Zinadine Zidane seemed pretty evident on Thursday evening as a slew of well-heeled people attended the charity premiere of Little Zizou hosted by Dinaz Stafford, co-founder of the Salaam Baalak Trust and producer of the film, to celebrate 20 successful years of service to the Salaam Baalak cause.
Mumbai city���s bawas��� and bawis��� love for footballer Zinadine Zidane seemed pretty evident on Thursday evening as a slew of well-heeled people attended the charity premiere of Little Zizou hosted by Dinaz Stafford, co-founder of the Salaam Baalak Trust and producer of the film, to celebrate 20 successful years of service to the Salaam Baalak cause. 
Director Sooni Taraporewala was busy welcoming the guests who came in full strength to support her. And before the movie started, Sooni revealed the fact that the cause for street children started when she and Dinaz were roaming the streets of Mumbai like ���mad bawis���. Little Zizou himself, Jahan Bativala, was at his cutest best, coyly shaking hands and acknowledging compliments about his acting prowess.
The rest of the cast including Kurush Deboo, Farid Currim, Sohrab Ardeshir, Shernaz Patel, Zenobia Shroff, Dilshad Patel, Tknow Francorsi and Iyanah Bativala were gung-ho about the evening too (which, btw, saw plenty of the bawa guests dressed in typical bawa finery!). Over colas and popcorn, everyone enjoyed this playful evening.
