Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar enthralled music lovers of Nagpur in Saptak's musical programme

When you have a maestro performing live, the adulation is sure to follow.This is exactly what happened when Pt Hridaynath Mangeshkar performed live in the city on Sunday at a concert, which saw him render some beautiful bhaavgeet, bhajans and ghazals.
This concert, organised in the memory of well-known ghazal writer and poet, late Dr Vinay Waikar, was also attended by Pt Hridaynath’s wife Bharati and daughter Radha.
As the celebrated singer progressed from one mellifluous song to another, we saw the audience doling out wah-wahs by the dozen. Radha and Vibhavari Apte Joshi also rendered some soulful numbers.Dr Waikar’s wife, Dr Veena, was also present on this occasion, along with their son Amit and daughter-in-law Aparna.
