Chanakya Patel on 'Chabutro': I have always been interested in telling stories- Exclusive!

'Chabutro' has recently released its teaser and the director Chanakya Patel has received immense appreciation for his work as a writer and director of the film. The film has been extensively shot in the US. Starring Raunaq Kamdar and Anjali Barot as the main lead.
Chanakya Patel in an exclusive talk to ETimes said, " 'Chabutro' is my dream project and my directorial debut. I have always been interested in telling stories and it was my dream to make a movie someday.The idea of the story was in my head for a very long time. I started writing the story in lockdown and planned to go ahead with the production once the lockdown is lifted."
Talking about the cast of the film, he adds, "The whole process of casting and finding the right technicians was a very interesting process considering I am not from this field. I am grateful to have found the perfect cast for the characters that I had envisioned, in Raunaq and Anjali. I have tried to make this film with utmost honesty and I hope the audience like it."
Furthermore, The music is composed by Siddharth Amit Bhavsar and the lyrics are written by Niren Bhatt. The teaser includes the song ‘Pardesi Malak’ by singer Aditya Gadhvi and Siddharth Bhavsar. The film also features the famous Garba song Moti Veraana by Amit Trivedi feat. Osman Mir.
