Pan Nalin on `Last Film Show's ('Chhello Show') 2023 Oscar entry: I can breathe again and believe in cinema that entertains, inspires, and enlightens - Exclusive

Director Pan Nalin's film 'Last Film Show' ('Chhello Show') is currently the talk of the town as the Gujarati film has been announced as India’s official entry to the Oscars 2023 under the Best International Feature Film category. 'Last Film Show' ('Chhello Show') is inspired by director Pan Nalin’s own memories of falling in love with movies as a child. The film stars Bhavin Rabari, Vikas Bata, Richa Meena, Bhavesh Shrimali, Dipen Raval, and Rahul Koli in key roles.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, an elated Nalin said, "When you have nothing, nothing can stop you, I could have never imagined such a day would come like a celebration of light.'Chhello Show' has been enjoying love from around the world but there was an ache in my heart. How do I make India discover it? Now I can breathe again and believe in cinema that entertains, inspires, and enlightens! Thank you, FFI, and the Jury."
