Interestingly, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ is not the movie that Jatin Sarna has rejected in recent times. The actor revealed that he has turned down as many as 12 movies, which includes Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ and Ahmed Khan’s upcoming directorial with Aditya Roy Kapoor. Sharing the reason behind the same, the actor said that he doesn’t want to do ‘dost, chacha-bhateja’ roles anymore and that he wants substantial work.
In ‘83’, Jatin Sarna essayed the role of Yashpal Sharma. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film hit the screens in December last year. The film failed to rake in big numbers at the box office. Speaking about the same, Kabir had told PTI, "I feel exhilarated to have created this film which has received so much love but at the same time there is a disappointment that not everybody who wants to watch it can see it today because the pandemic is there with historic numbers. We nurtured the film for two years, waited for the correct time so that everybody gets to see it on the big screen.”
