Shrouded in suspense and drama, Drishyam, with its realistic feel and engaging storyline, is one of the most awaited releases of 2015. Grossing a huge number of hits on the very day that the trailer was launched on social media, the film has been backed by an intriguing marketing campaign.
This has further heightened the anticipation for its release. To tease the audience and up the mystery quotient, special video capsules of opposing character testimonials were created for the digital viewer asking the question — Is Vijay Salgaonkar, framed or guilty?

While this activity sparked interesting conversations across platforms, ‘real news’ front page covers were created across key metros through strategic media alliances with newspapers that were distributed at theatres.

Extending the sentiment of a common man going to any length to protect his family in an engaging on-ground campaign in multiplexes, audiences were given a chance to pose in a manner similar to the movie’s poster. The activity was called ‘What’s your Drishyam?’
