After nude video controversy, Radhika Apte focusses on Bombairiya

Radhika Apte made headlines recently when a semi-nude scene featuring her, shot for Anurag Kashyap's 20-minute film, was leaked online and went viral. The makers filed an FIR but the actress wants to put the incident behind her for the moment.

“I will be releasing an official statement at the time of the film's release," says the 29-year-old actress who is busy filming her first Indo-UK collaboration, Bombairiya, on the streets of Mumbai.
She's playing Meghna in Pia Sukanya's upcoming drama which spans 24 hours and subtly explores how people survive in the city.“I play a publicist whose phone is stolen and this can be catastrophic when you are chasing deadlines and handling a lot simultaneously. No one has the time to take a break," she informs. Radhika is paired with Siddhant Kapoor who plays a biker.

The strangers meet and take off on a thrilling ride.She has three looks in the film. In the first one she's seen in a lacy sari and green sports shoes. “There is a reason for the mismatch but I'm not telling," she laughs. “It's a thriller of sorts and there's a particular thought behind why I'm dressed like this. The film's all about not judging a book by its cover."
