Ajay Devgn has thrown his weight behind Tannishtha Chatterjee after she was racially roasted on a comedy show. He was quoted as saying that humour has to be in good taste. He also adds that if humour is disguised as buffoonery then it loses its appeal. Ajay says that he hasn't scene the show, but going by Tannishtha's reaction, it is clear that she became a victim of racist mindset that still prevails in this country.

"Fair skinned people are seen as beautiful while dark skinned ones often remain at the receiving end of snide remarks and insinuations,' says the actor. Ajay also goes on to add that the reason why in our country fairness creams are in so much demand has to do with our obsession with fair skin.
