Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda works out on the streets of New York

While she has not been in the limelight – despite being veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter and model-author- entrepreneur Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s daughter – Navya Naveli Nanda now seems to be making it big on social media. In addition to her 114k followers on Instagram, there are multiple fan clubs, which were apparently created after Shweta made her Instagram page public, and that featured several pictures of the star kid.
One of Navya’s recent videos featured her doing lunges out on the streets of New York. And a few weeks ago, a similar video was posted. These workout sessions seem to be happening outside a fitness studio. Check them out and get inspired!


During numerous interviews, Shweta had dismissed the idea of Navya making her debut in Bollywood. “I don’t know what Navya’s talent is. I feel, unless she’s completely driven, passionate and talented, she has no business being here (in Bollywood). Just because she’s related to some famous people doesn’t mean she has what it takes,” Shweta had said during a talk show. “I see their faces when things don’t work out... and I don’t want yet another member of the family to be in the business,” she added.
Last year, during an interview with a news publication, Shweta had spoken about the need to shield her kids from paps. “They haven’t lived in India for so long, and have been away from the film scene here. But yes, there’s a constant gaze and they’ll have to learn to balance and make their peace with it,” she had said.
