An impactful debut for Aishwarya Devan

The upcoming film, 'Kaashi: In Search Of Ganga', will feature the debut of Aishwarya Devan. The young actress plays the role of a journalist in this intense and hard-hitting movie. While this is her debut in Hindi films, Aishwarya has worked in a Malayalam film 'Simhasanam' with Prithviraj and she’s done a cameo in Mohanlal’s 'Karmayodha', too. Her last release was the Tamil film 'Anegan' opposite Dhanush.
Aishwarya has also been crowned fbb Colors Femina Miss India Maharashtra 2017, along with four subtitles. About her choice of roles she says, “Characters have always mattered to me and I know I am new to the film industry, but I am not being choosy. Today, cinema is growing rapidly and the focus is solely on good content. As a result, actors now have the opportunity to experiment with the roles and films they choose. When I was offered Kaashi..., I knew that it was a good opportunity for me, because I was going to work with a versatile actor like Sharman Joshi. I feel, this is the sort of film that you can feel proud to be associated with, when you look back at it many years from now.”
