Trolling Feels Personal, Says Anjini
In coversation with Bollywood Bubble, Anjini shared her thoughts on dealing with trolling, especially in light of the nepotism backlash around Nadaaniyan. She said that while the criticism can get intense and feel personal, the success or failure of a film doesn’t depend on just one actor. Many people work together to make a film.

Nadaaniyan is a 2025 Hindi-language teen romantic comedy directed by Shauna Gautam in her debut. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under Dharmatic Entertainment, the film stars debutant Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, along with Mahima Chaudhry, Dia Mirza, Suniel Shetty, and Jugal Hansraj.

Nepotism Debate Rekindled After Netflix Release
Netflix's film Nadaaniyan has stirred fresh debate over nepotism in Bollywood. While some viewers criticised the film’s quality and the lead actors’ talent, others defended their potential and the movie’s concept. Her favourite Varun Dhawan film
Further Anjini also opened up about her admiration for her cousin Varun Dhawan’s film career and revealed her top four favourite movies from his filmography. She named Badlapur, October, Main Tera Hero, and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania as the ones she loves the most.

She admired how he transformed for the role and proved his range as an actor. She also included October, appreciating the emotional depth and sensitivity Varun brought to the film, which she felt was both moving and powerful.
