KOLKATA: Management guru Arindam Chaudhuri has entered the celluloid arena with the production of Bengali film Saanjbathir Roopkathara.

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">KOLKATA: Management guru Arindam Chaudhuri has entered the celluloid arena with the production of Bengali film <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Saanjbathir Roopkathara</span>.<br />Chaudhuri, the managing director of Planman Life, told reporters here on Saturday night that his company was keen to produce good quality films, whether in Bengali or in Hindi.<br />He said Planman Life would break all barriers between the classes and masses as emotions are common to all.<br />The film, <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Saanjhbatir Roopkathara</span>, is based on the novel by renowned poet Joy Goswami, and has Soumitra Chatterjee and Indrani Halder on the star cast.<br />The protagonist of the film, Saanjhbati (twilight lamp), played by Indrani Halder, was mesmerised by her father''s ability to see a luminescent aura enveloping her.<br />Her father, an artist played by Soumitra, was drawn deep into the strokes and silhouttes to find the meaning and life of Saanjhbati.<br />The film is due for release on November 8, and is being distributed by Columbia Tristar.
