The denial of a US visa has cost Aamir Bashir a role in Karan Johar���s My Name Is Khan, in which he was playing Shah Rukh Khan���s younger brother.
The role has now gone to Jimmy Sheirgill, his award-winning co-star from ���A Wednesday���.
Confirming the news, Jimmy said, ���I got a call from the production house asking me if I���d like to be a part of their film.

They briefed me about the role. I liked it, so I said yes immediately.���Jimmy will travel to Los Angeles later to shoot for the film.
The US refusing to give Aamir a visa, on the grounds that he had omitted to mention his visit to Iran had earlier made headlines. A source said, ���The production house was upset that Aamir spoke to the media. They felt that he did it for publicity. But that is not true.��� Karan Johar is currently shooting My Name is Khan with SRK and Kajol in LA.
