Bhumi Pednekar gives a charming glimpse of Sumi and Shardul from the sets of ‘Badhaai Do’

Bhumi Pednekar is busy shooting with Rajkummar Raj for their upcoming romantic venture ‘Badhaai Do’. Giving fans a glimpse of their candid camaraderie, Bhumi posted a fun selfie from the sets and introduced fans to Sumi and Shardul – the starts of ‘Badhaai Do’. Tucked away in bed, Bhumi took inspiration from ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ and captioned the picture, “Do mastane chale zindagi banane, Bande sayane aur naam ke deewane #SumiAurShardul #BadhaaiDo.”

Two years after their National Award-winning film, ‘Badhaai Ho’, Junglee Pictures is set to entertain fans with ‘Badhaai Do’.The promising entertainer will see Rajkummar Rao essaying the role of a tough cop at a Mahila Police Thana while Bhumi Pednekar essays the role of a PT teacher. Apart from sporting a moustache, Rajkkumar also underwent a physical transformation to achieve a beefed-up look for his character in the film.
Speaking about the film’s storyline, director Harshavardhan Kulkarni had previously told Mumbai Mirror, “We’re also tapping a big social issue with this film. It’s too early to reveal details. All I can say is that Badhaai Do is as much a family entertainer as Badhaai Ho, only the world we’re creating is becoming more diverse. It moves from a small town to a bigger one and then, on to something else. There’s a lot of colour and drama.”
