Casting director-filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra's mother passes away

One of Bollywood's most popular names, casting director and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra lost his mother Kamla Chhabra today. Mukesh's mother was admitted to the hospital for the past few days. She was unwell and had been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for the past three weeks.

Kamla Chhabra's condition had deteriorated in the past three days and she lost consciousness and despite the doctor's best efforts to treat her, she could not gain consciousness again.Mukesh Chhabra's mother passed away at the hospital. She was 73.

Chhabra shared the news of the passing of his mother on his casting company's official Instagram account, informing friends and followers that the cremation will be held on April 14 at 10 am at the Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai. The post was captioned as, "Our biggest support has left us for her heavenly
abode. May her soul forever rest in peace".
