Darsheel enjoys adventure sports

Actor Darsheel Safary talks about his liking for Gujarati food and adventure sports
He won the hearts of many over his performance in Taare Zameen Par. And since then, there’s no looking back for Darsheel Safary. He is very excited about his upcoming flick Zokkomon where he plays the role of Kunal, an orphan who gets some supernatural powers and fights against evils.And in real life too, Darsheel is a very adventurous kid (and he hates being called a kid!). He says, “I love parasailing and scuba diving. I have tried it and it was simply awesome.” And on his wishlist is, “To go trekking into a rainforest with my dad. He is an absolute fun company for adventure trips.” Darsheel is not very keen on traveling but, “if I know where I’m heading for and if it sounds fun, I can actually be gung-ho about it.” This talented actor is very fond of trying crazy things and playing pranks. Infact, he cannot sit idle ever!
Being a Gujarati, Darsheel is very fond of, “Gujarati thali. I can go on eating and eating as I love the food and I want to break record in eating loads of rotis when it is Gujarati thali!” And that apart, he enjoys, “Watching movies as I’m a huge movie buff. Me and my sister often go for catching up on movies--I enjoy her company. I also love dancing and infact I’m part of Shiamak Davar’s dance academy--after acting, dance is my passion.” Darsheel is currently working on Deepa Mehta’s upcoming film Midnight’s Children, where he plays the role of younger Salim. And ask him if he is Momma’s boy? And this 15-year-old replies diplomatically, “I am both mom and dad’s boy! When at home I love being with mom and for trips it is dad.”
