In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Himani Shivpuri recounted an incident from the sets of DDLJ that surprised veteran actress Achala Sachdev, who portrayed Kajol’s grandmother in the film.

Himani fondly recalled the vibrant atmosphere on the sets of DDLJ at Filmistan. She reminisced about sharing a spacious green room with Farida Jalal and the joyous camaraderie they all shared. Shivpuri vividly described Kajol's lively presence, noting how the actress, known for her tomboyish nature, would playfully apply curd on Aditya Chopra's hair, much to Achala Sachdev's amusement.
During the interview, Shivpuri continued to recall Kajol's tomboyish demeanor, especially during the filming of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
