I want to retire: Victor Banerjee
When we call him at his Mussorie residence, Victor Banerjees in the middle of testing his culinary skills. Can you call me back in 15 minutes? he asks.
We do, and this time, he sounds at ease. I was having fun in the kitchen, he says. His last few projects havent been fun, though. Apne was a disaster. Anil Sharma hired me for three months, but it took a year-and-a-half.

His last release, Anjan Dutts Chowrasta Crossroads of Love, released in a few multiplexes; the turnout was less. My daughter hated it. She went with her friends, who made her pay for the tickets. There were only three people in the hall, he laughs.
The man of the mountains has just finished shooting the NFDC-produced bilingual, As the River Flows, to be dubbed
in Hindi and Assamese. Though the actor is busy with work, he plans to hang up his boots soon. Im looking at retirement. I want to settle down in Mussorie. Im in love with the Himalaya. Ill make enough money by next year and retire, he asserts.
