While acknowledging the negative aspects of the breakup, he emphasized that the experience brought positive changes in his personality. He pointed out that his marriage lasted for 13 years, even if it didn’t continue forever. According to him, relationships don’t always have to be permanent, and despite the challenges, there were many good moments along the way.

Different Personalities Led to Separation
The actor further opened up about his divorce, explaining that he and Barkha had different personalities from the start, which grew even more distinct over time. He believes their marriage didn’t fail; instead, their individual growth led them in separate directions. He also shared his perspective on relationships, stating that in the past, many lasted due to dependency rather than compatibility.
Barkha on Indraneil’s Absence from Their Daughter’s Life
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Barkha revealed that Indraneil Sengupta has not been in contact with their daughter for several months. She mentioned that they are not co-parenting at all and that he has been completely absent from their child's life. According to Barkha, their daughter doesn’t even miss him.

After nearly four years of separation, Barkha addressed the rumors of Indraneil Sengupta's alleged affair with Ishaa Saha for the first time. She shared that she had confronted him about it, but his response was unsatisfactory. Barkha further revealed that it was Indraneil who chose to walk away from their marriage.
