Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor to commence 'Veere Di Wedding' shoot in Delhi

Bollywood's fashionista Sonam Kapoor, who proved her mantle with a stellar performance in 'Neerja' last year, has been busy with several film projects this year. Now, the star is all set to begin work on the highly anticipated film 'Veere Di Wedding' which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in pivotal roles.
Produced by Sonam's sister Rhea the film will be shot extensively in Delhi.The 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' actress took to Twitter to share her excitement about ending the year on a high with this shoot. She tweeted, "Going to be leaving for Delhi today. So excited to start #VeereDiWedding @ReallySwara @ShikhaTalsania #kareena @RheaKapoor #shashankghosh."

The actress even expressed how exciting this year has been for her on the professional front saying, "This year has been amazing for me creatively. Working on #padman, #duttbiopic and now ending it with #VeereDiWedding 🙏❤️."

She further added, "Can't wait for you guys to see all these films! Lots of love to all who have supported me and have helped me through my journey."

Sonam ended her series of tweets by saying, "Next year is gonna be even more awesome with all these movies releasing and me starting some exciting new projects!"

'Veere Di Wedding' will be the first time that we would see Kareena and Sonam together on the big screen. This film also marks Kareena's return on the silver screen after her pregnancy. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film is scheduled to release next year.
