Kumar’s ‘friendly’ gesture

However, the director squeezed time out from the shooting schedule of his upcoming venture, Chhotobelar Bandhu, to speak to CT.
When we quizzed him on his telefilm the director replied, “The story revolves around an ambitious man, Naru (Shantilal Mukherjee), his wife Deepa (Rupanjana) and son Bumba (Anikit).One day he meets his childhood friend, Kobi (Debranjan Nag) who reminds him of his troubled childhood. Naru tries to avoid him. The telefilm is all about what happens next.” Ask him what else is keeping him busy these days and his answer is facing the arclights. Says Kumar, “I’m acting in megas like Uttaran, Hoyto Tomari Jonno and Ashoke Vishwanathan’s next big screen venture, Shesh Sanghat”
