Actor Milind Gunaji is all excited about his decision to enter south films. He will star in filmmaker Krish’s upcoming bilingual film, Ongaram. He shares, “I have a fair idea about south films and Krish made my job easier. I have worked on a lot of Hindi film with south filmmakers.” Apart from the south film, Milind is looking forward to Stalker, a film based on the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, directed by
Ram Gopal Varma.
When asked whether RGV’s recent failures bother him, he replied, “It is a phase. You can’t forget that he is the one who made films like
Rangeela, Satya and Sarkar. Besides, RGV has a production house so at times he doesn’t direct the complete film himself. Some portions are directed by others.”
The actor known for his stint in Marathi television is happy with the work he’s getting. About playing a cop in the Hindi daily soap
Shapath, he says, “Apart from my travel show and a couple of serials, I haven’t done much television. Besides, I was getting to play the lead role so I didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity. After all, it is rare to see a Marathi face playing a lead in a Hindi serial.”
