Filmmaker Mira Nair believes that being Indian allows her to be liberal with the use of music in her films. Mira reportedly says that she is 'funda-mentally Indian' and music is the seed of the movies she wants to make. The director is gearing up for Broadway adaptation of 'Monsoon Wedding' and her next film 'Queen of Katwe', which is set in her front-yard in Kampala, Uganda, where she has been living for 27 years now.

She says in the report that she has been working on the Broadway for nine years now and it will open on May 19, 2017, at Berkeley Theatre in California. Vishal Bhardwaj has written its score with 21 new songs.
