Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been into major controversies lately. His wife Aaliya Siddiqui has been sharing videos displaying the trouble she's facing while staying at his house in Versova. Meanwhile, the actor's maid had shared a video from Dubai and then changed her statement immediately. Aaliya has also filed a rape case against the actor.
Now his brother Shamaas Siddiqui says that Nawazuddin regularly beats his staff.He shared a voice recording and tweeted, "Got this video as a gift of #Holi 🤣...As per routine, #NawazuddinSiddiqui beats his staff – his manager is telling that he hit his boy for the second time. Although this donkey has also been beaten in the airport and office. Its proper video will be released. Great Man #VIVADITPURUSH"

In an interview ETimes, Shamaas had said, “Woh hamara khayal rakhte hain (he does take care of us) but he hasn’t established any brother’s career. He buys properties for us, but he isn’t what his image is. He is a difficult person. He abandons people- Aaliya and I are two examples.”
The actor finally broke silence on the controversy surrounding his wife and released a statement on social media. His statement read, "I am termed as a bad guy everywhere because of my silence. The reason I have kept quiet is becaus e all this tamasha will somewhere be read by my small children. Social Media Platforms, Press & A bunch of people are really enjoying my character assassination on the basis of one sided & manipulated videos. There are few points, I would like to express - First of all, me and Aaliya do not stay together since several years, we are already divorced but we definitely had an understanding only for our kids. Does anyone know, why my kids are in India and not attending school for 45 days, wherein the school is sending me letters everyday that it’s been too long an absence. My kids have been made hostage for past 45 days & are missing their schooling in Dubai.”
Nawaz had further added, "On an average, she is been paid approx. 10 Lakhs per month for past 2 years and 5-7 lakhs per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding the school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities." According to the actor, Aaliya is doing all this to blackmail him for more money. Nawaz said that he's separated from his wife for many years now.
On work front, Nawazuddin will be seen next in 'Afwaah' alongside Bhumi Pednekar, directed by Sudhir Mishra and 'Haddi' where he plays a transgender.
