Rajkummar Rao signs up for an anthology set against the pandemic with Anubhav Sinha: Report

Rajkummar Rao and Anubhav Sinha have been extensively working on ‘Bheed’ and even before this social drama releases, the duo has signed up for yet another collaboration. Anubhav Sinha had announced an anthology last year and Rajkummar will reportedly essay a pivotal part in the same. According to a news portal, Anubhav Sinha felt that Raj was the perfect choice for this short film, which is set against the backdrop of the pandemic.

This anthology has brought together filmmakers like Sudhir Mishra, Hansal Mehta and Ketan Mehta among others.Apart from Rajkummar, Taapsee Pannu and Parambrata Chatterjee will also be a part of this anthology. Speaking about collaborating with Anubhav Sinha for ‘Bheed’, Rajkummar had previously shared, “I have always found myself gravitating towards stories that trigger conversation. Even as an entertainer, I want my work to get people thinking. This is an important subject and the character needs me to stretch myself as an artist, beyond my comfort zone. I can't wait to start shooting and lose myself in this universe."
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in 'Mr and Mrs Mahi' with Janhvi Kapoor and 'HIT: The First Case' with Sanya Malhotra.
