Ramanujan, that has Abhinay Vaddi play the famous mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, shot some of the vital portions of film at London's famous Cambridge University. Very few films get a chance to shoot at Cambridge University but the mathematician was at Trinity for five years, where his quintessential contribution to mathematics got him elected a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge and Fellow of The Royal Society, London, the film given a nod to shoot there.
The film is directed by award winning director Gnana Rajasekaran and produced by Camphor Cinema, an independent film production company.
A unit source revealed, “The England schedule is our third the earlier two having been shot in India. It is a period film and we have realised it would be a delight to live in this world where languages are not borders, but an element to experiment with."
