Ramanujan gets Cambridge University nod for film shoot

Ramanujan, that has Abhinay Vaddi play the famous mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, shot some of the vital portions of film at London's famous Cambridge University.
Very few films get a chance to shoot at Cambridge University but the mathematician was at Trinity for five years, where his quintessential contribution to mathematics got him elected a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge and Fellow of The Royal Society, London, the film given a nod to shoot there.The film is directed by award winning director Gnana Rajasekaran and produced by Camphor Cinema, an independent film production company.
A unit source revealed, “The England schedule is our third the earlier two having been shot in India. It is a period film and we have realised it would be a delight to live in this world where languages are not borders, but an element to experiment with."
