IFFI-2013: 16 films selected to be screened in non-feature film category

A total of 16 films will be screened in the non-feature film category in the Indian Panorama section at the 44th International Film Festival of India (IFFI)-2013 to be held in Goa from November 20-30, 2013. The prestigious film festival is organised by the ministry of information and broadcasting.
Hindi film 'Rangabhoomi’ directed by Kamal Swaroop will be the opening film in the non-feature film category.
The other films that will be screened in the section are: 23 Winters (Kashmiri/Hindi) directed by Rajesh S Jala, A dream called America (Hindi) directed by Anoop Sathyan, Behind the mist (Malayalam) directed by Babu Kambrath, By Lane 2 (English/Assamese) directed by Utpal Datta, Kanche aur postcard (Hindi) directed by Ridham Janve, Lilghts on Adoor Gopalakrishnan (Malayalam/English) directed by Prasanna Bamaswamy, Makara (Marathi) directed by Prantik Narayan Basu, Manipuri Pony (English) directed by Aribam Syam Sharma, Phada (Kudukh – region: Jharkhand, Chattisgarh) directed by Niranjan Kumar Kujur, Rangabhoomi (Hindi) directed by Kamal Swaroop, Resonance of Mother’s melody (English) directed by Dip Bhuyan, Sama-Muslim mystic music of India (Hindi/English) directed by Shazia Khan, The Donkey Fair (Hindi/Gujarati) directed by Rakesh Shukla, V Babasaheb Life in full open (Marathi/Hindi/English) directed by Avinash Deshpande, Vishaparvam (Malayalam) directed by Vipin Vijay and Shepherds of Paradise (Kashmiri) directed by Raja Shabir Khan.
The most number of films selected in a language in the section are five in Hindi.
