Satish Shah recalls an incident when he almost punched a man

Satish Shah has been part of the movie industry since the 1970s. Having done a variety of roles, it is his comic timing for which he is known the most. But while doing so, he pointed out an issue with the Indian viewers. He said that they can’t distinguish between the actor and the person.
In an interview, Shah recalled an incident when he nearly punched a guy.He said that he was in the hospital attending to his wife who was in a very serious condition and battling for her life and it had been only 3 months to their marriage. A man approached him in the hospital and told him, 'You don't look so nice when you are glum. Why don’t you tell me a joke right now?'
The actor added that he really wanted to punch the man, but then he controlled himself and walked away from there. He pointed out that people expect actors who do comic roles to be funny even in a serious environment.
Satish Shah was last seen in a web show called United Kacche with Sunil Grover and will now be seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki that also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.
