Shabana unapologetically shared that she is a "greedy actress," unashamed of asking directors for work. She humorously stated, "Certainly, I have no hesitation in approaching a director and saying, 'When will you cast me? Why won't you cast me? If you don't, I'll protest outside your house.' I'll stage a dharna until they're fed up and say, 'Fine, let's cast her.' I have no problem; I have so much confidence."
She recalled an incident where Anu Malik pursued Umesh Mehra to collaborate on a project. She shared this story to show her own confidence in asking for work, stating that she has no misgivings about approaching directors for roles.
