‘Shakuntala Devi’: Vidya Balan celebrates the math genius on World Maths Day

After impressing one and all with her power-packed performances in films like, ‘Tumhari Sulu’, ‘Mission Mangal’ and others in recent past, Vidya Balan is all set to step into the shoes of mathematician Shakuntala Devi in her next.
Today, on the occasion of World Mathematics Day, the actress took to her Twitter handle to share a teaser video with the picture of her character.In the video, Vidya is seen as math genius Shakuntala Devi who is balancing mathematical operations in the tip of her finger.

Dressed in a green printed blouse and yellow saree, Vidya looks like a spitting image of the character she is all set to play on screen. Her short hair, round bindi and traditional earrings complement her overall look.

Based on the life of Indian writer and mental calculator, ‘Shakuntala Devi’ also stars Sanya Malhotra in the character of Shakuntala Devi’s daughter.
The film is slated to hit silver screens in summer next year.
