With a voice that has serenaded audiences with iconic Hindi movie songs like "Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai", "Barso Re", and "Deewani Mastani", Shreya Ghoshal has this time lent her vocals to a devotional track, "Aayiye Ram Ji", a heartfelt prayer to Lord Ram.
The track, composed by B Praak and written by Jaani, captures the essence of hope, devotion, and the longing for divine intervention. Ghoshal shares, "It’s always a blessing to lend my voice to a devotional song, and Shriya has brought it to life beautifully with her heartfelt performance in ‘Aayiye Ram Ji.’ Singing this track was a deeply emotional and sacred experience for me. B Praak and Jaani are exceptionally talented artists, and it’s always a pleasure to collaborate with them.”
The song features actress Shriya Saran, who is known for popular movies like Drishyam and more.
B Praak, who has composed the music for the track, believes that the time is right to introduce devotional music that connects with all age groups. "People are really connecting more with spirituality these days, and it feels like the right moment to introduce a devotional music label," he says.
Ghoshal has lent her soulful voice to numerous devotional tracks throughout her illustrious career.
