As Dr Agashe rehearses for one of the master plays of the last century - Adhe Adhure by Mohan Rakesh - he is amazed at the way Hindi or English theater industry works. Used to the family type household management of Marathi theater companies, this super professional management comes to him as a surprise.
"In Marathi theater, we start rehearsing and then the producer will start looking for dates.

Every month it's a struggle to get dates of the auditorium. But here it's the other way round," says Dr Agashe. "I have got dates till March already. And we are still to open!"
Does this frustrate him? "Not at all," he says. "On the contrary, I am amazed and quite curious about the entire process. I want to learn how they function. It will a great lesson, which I might be able to implement in Marathi, if permitted."
