Vivek Oberoi recently shared that his father
Suresh Oberoi didn't approve of his thoughts when he expressed that he didn't want to take his help to make his debut.
At that time, Vivek even considered changing his name to hide his identity and any connection to his father. Reportedly, this conversation took place in the early 20s of Vivek when he was firm that he doesn't want his father to produce films for him.
Vivek stated that Suresh was not happy with his demand of finding his own way in the industry. His father told him that he is the son of Suresh Oberoi, 'how can you struggle?'
Vivek marked his debut with
Ram Gopal Varma's 'Company' in 2002. The actor also received two Filmfare awards fr the same. The actor went on to impress the audience with his performances in the films like 'Yuva', 'Omkara', 'Shootout at Lokhandwala' and more.
