One would often associate children with sweet innocence.
But some on-screen kids have time and again proven that when it comes to scaring the daylights out of people, they can be quite a force to reckon with. And 12-year-old Isabelle Fuhrman ��� who stars as the diabolical orphan Esther in the forthcoming thriller Orphan releasing this Friday ��� is the latest entrant in this scare-fare league.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and presented by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film revolves around a couple, Kate and John (played by Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard) who adopt Esther.
But soon after that, an alarming series of events unfold that makes Kate question if there is more to the innocent and charming girl than meets the eye! The Exorcist- It boasts of one of the most convincing performances and the protagonist���a young girl made it so real. The film haunts me till date.
Sameera Reddy, actress: The Sixth Sense - Long time back I saw this thriller. The small kid in the film has done a great job.
Sujoy Ghosh, filmmaker: The Omen - It scared the daylights out of me. That kid was unstoppable which was a scary thought.
Aftab Shivdasani, actor: The Grudge - It���s super scary from the begining to the end, and the revelation of climax is really well-done. The child bit is haunting.

Kim Sharma, actress: Orphan - A very scary film, reminding me of the very essence of classic horrors.
Riya Sen, actress: The Exorcist - It���s a classic and nothing can beat the film. The idea of the girl being possesed was really scary.
Divya Dutta, actress: The Sixth Sense - It was absolutely spine-chilling to see the dead walk past the adorable child. A movie that scares you everytime you watch it.
