Recently, there have been talks about a sequel, and now a new update suggests that Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aaryan might play the lead roles. However, there’s no official confirmation yet.
According to a report in News18 Showsha, Sajid wants to recreate the fun and chaos of the first film with a modern touch. Kartik Aaryan and Varun Dhawan, known for their great comic timing, are top choices for the lead roles. However, the script is still being written, and final casting will happen once Sajid is happy with the story. “Aligning Kartik and Varun’s dates will be tough, given their busy date diaries. The makers are aiming for a late 2026 release," the source added.
The scripting stage on
According to Pinkvilla, it was earlier reported that 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi 2' is still in the scripting stage. Whether the film moves forward depends on how the script turns out. If producer Sajid Nadiadwala likes the final draft, he’ll begin casting. If not, the project may be delayed. The goal is to create another comedy of errors featuring three main characters.
