Music Review: Witty lyrics presented with an old-world charm have been music director V Harikrishna’s USP, and with Kaddipudi, he recreates his magic. The album has five songs, in which the film industry’s current hit music duo — Harikrishna and Yogaraj Bhat (as lyricist), have collaborated on three of them.
While Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam returns to Sandalwood with a melodious number, Soundarya Samaya, it is singer Sabina’s rendition of an old folk song, Hedara Byada, that has music enthusiasts sit up and take notice. With the only fast-paced number being Yograj’s Bood Boodke, the rest of the film’s songs are melodious and soulful. Tune in to Vani Harikrishna’s Baere Yaaro and Priya Darshini’s Jinke Bederuvaga for music that will stay on with you until much after you have heard it.
