Metallica’s historical supertour with heavy metal’s other ‘Big Four’ acts Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth will happen once again, according to rocker Lars Ulrich. The four groups performed on the same bill for the first time in 25 years this summer. The acts’ 22 June shows in Sofia, Bulgaria were taped and screened in cinemas around the world, and eventually released on DVD earlier this month.
Metallica drummer Ulrich reveals the groups are already in talks to reunite for another string of shows in the distant future. Ulrich said recently, “The vibe on this thing is so big, we’d be stupid to ignore it.”
