Metallica to perform in Delhi

Metallica’s coming to India, Delhi/NCR to be precise. Yes, thrash fans can truly say, “Nothing Else Matters”, as the band is all set to perform at F1 Rocks at Greater Noida.
Bassist Robert Trujillo confirmed in an interview to a mag, “We’re going to play in India in October. That should be interesting, playing in a place we never thought in our wildest dreams we’d (go) to.It’s an honour for all of us that we get to be a part of that whole music scene as a metal band sharing our music with fans in India at this incredible concert.”
However, a source from DNA, the event company bringing the band to town, says it’s too soon to confirm the details. “Yes, we are looking at bringing down Metallica for F1 Rocks at Greater Noida, but we are yet to work out the details of the events. We have approached a lot of artistes, but it depends on who is travelling to this side of the world. We’ve approached Metallica as they’re on tour this year.”
A source however, said. “Yes, Metallica is definitely coming to India. They probably don’t want to confirm anything as yet as they are planning to announce this in a big way later on. While in India, the band will also be performing in Bangalore.”
