aespa drops theme song 'Die Trying' for 'Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver'

aespa has once again charmed global music fans with their latest collaboration. Participating in the ‘Inspired By’ EP of the upcoming movie ‘Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver’, aespa released ‘Die Trying’ at midnight on April 4. This collaboration with DJ TOKiMONSTA has received warm attention from music enthusiasts around the world.

‘Die Trying’ serves as the theme song for the character Nemesis, portrayed by actress Bae Doona, in the upcoming movie.The EP, released in a midnight drop on April 5, features a diverse lineup of global artists, including Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez, Latin pop producer Tainy, Dominican rapper Tokischa, Black Coffee, and Kordhell.
Directed by Zack Snyder, renowned for his iconic works such as ‘300’ and ‘Man of Steel’, ‘Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver’ is set to hit screens on April 19. The epic tale unfolds on the moon of Veldt, where protagonist Kora and a band of warriors defend the farmers and fight against the forces of the Motherworld. Alongside Bae Doona, the star-studded cast includes Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, and Michiel Huisman.

aespa's involvement in ‘Rebel Moon’ adds another feather to their cap as a ‘global OST powerhouse’. aespa has graced numerous OST projects, from the theme song ‘Hold On Tight’ for the movie ‘Tetris’ to the opening theme song ‘We Go’ for the TV animation ‘Pocket Monsters: Liko and Roy’s Departure’, and the OST ‘Get Goin’ for the musical series ‘Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock’. Meanwhile, aespa is preparing for a comeback in May, as announced by their agency SM Entertainment.
