BTS' 2021 summer hit 'Butter' is showing no signs of budging from the TOP 10 spot of the Billboard’s Hot 100 music charts.
The song has reclaimed the top spot on the music charts once again, thus extending its impressive record to ten weeks. With this, the song is the only one this year to stay on the No. 1 spot for 10 weeks.
Penning a message in Korean,
RM, V, Jin,
Jimin,
J-Hope, JungKook and
SUGA wrote, "After receiving a lot of love from ARMYs, we rose to the top again.
#BTS_Butter unchanged for 15 weeks thank you for sending love."
They went on to add, "#BTS_Butter returns to #1 with amazing @theestallion! We're always grateful for your and support #BTSARMY"
It is also only the 40th song in Billboard history to cross the 10-week mark. On the whole, the song has spent a total of 15 weeks in the top 10 spots.
Roddy Ricch's 'The Box' currently holds the record for spending a total of 11 weeks at No. 1 on the charts this decade.
According to reports, 'Butter' also topped the Songs of Summer chart for eleven weeks in a row, reaffirming its indisputable title as the summer anthem of 2021.
BTS recently released their catchy remix featuring
Megan Thee Stallion. Whilst the original version put forth the distinctive personality of BTS, the latest version adds more flavour with the rap verses from Megan.
Sending out a message of love and thanks to
ARMY, Bighit Music penned a tweet that read, "Thank you for your continued support and love #BTSARMY!"
