Actor and Activist Chetan Kumar raises voice against pan masala and gambling advertisements

Many Kannada film industry people are claimed for consuming drugs. Director Indrajit Lankesh, who alleged that Sandalwood actor-actress-technician consumed drugs and was in touch with dealers, had already given CCB police all the details and evidence that they had.
Meanwhile, Kannada actor and activist Chetan Kumar has blamed few more actors for advertising alcohol (as soda), gutka/pan masala, gambling (rummy) and others.
Chetan Kumar tweeted about this and said, ‘While the current focus is on exposing film personnel/actors who use #drugs privately… Isn't it hypocritical to not point fingers at film 'stars' who for money OPENLY advertise for alcohol (as soda), gutka/pan masala, gambling (rummy), etc? Aren't they 'ambassadors' of social evils?’.

Currently, drug cases have put many people and fans in shock. The CCB police have raised a complaint and are investigating. However, actor Chetan has raised his voice against the advertising shown directing to the people, and many people have come in support fo him.
