Bhavachitra was Ganavi Laxman’s stepping stone

Before her Sandalwood debut in Hero, Ganavi Laxman had shot for the techno thriller, Bhavachitra, which is all set to release on Friday.
The actress, who has been paired opposite Chakrvarthy in the movie, says that she shot for Bhavachitra while acting in Magalu Janaki. “So, Bhavachitra is very close to my heart as it gave me the confidence that I could transition from the small screen to the silver screen.”

Talking about her latest release, written and directed by B Girish Kumar, Ganavi says, “I play an archaeologist who is fond of her job, is very inquisitive, loves photography and travels across Karnataka, exploring heritage monuments and ancient places, while also thinking of society’s future.It’s the kind of performance-driven character which portrays me in a natural way, without any exaggeration, which I love. There is also a bit of a romantic element.”
The actress had a great time shooting in unexplored locations in Haveri, Chikkaballapur and Shivamogga.
