‘Bytwo Love is one of Santhu’s best works till date’

When director Santhu showed a poster of Bytwo Love’s lead pair Dhanveerrah and Sreeleela along with a baby to the film’s producer Supreeth of KVN Productions, he was rather intrigued. “I was bowled over by what I saw and amazed by the thought that had gone into it. And the reaction that it elicits when you see it for the first time is the same kind of reaction that we got from fans when we released it.Everyone was curious to know more about the presence of a baby alongside the lead pair. I’m glad that it happened, because that was our whole intention,” shares Supreeth.
He also shares that despite many love stories being made, the script of Bytwo Love had him hooked from the word go due to its contemporary feel. “Two decades ago, love stories were about families on both sides and their involvement in the relationship. However, present love stories are only about the lead pair, and Bytwo Love captures that aptly,” he states.
And while Supreeth concurs that Dhanveerrah and Sreeleela have done full justice to their roles, he’s all praise for director Santhu. “He’s done many films, but I feel Bytwo Love is one of his best works till date. The story that he narrated to me and what has translated onscreen match word to word; he’s been honest to his work. I’m happy with the turnout. When the audiences enter cinema halls on Friday, they will be able to connect with the story. From a 10-year-old to a 60-year-old – the entire family can comfortably watch the film,” sums up Supreeth.
