ByTwo Love was born out of Hari Santhosh’s dilemma over marriage

Director Hari Santhosh, popularly known as Santhu, says he’s clueless as to whether he should get married or stay single. And out of this state of mind was born ByTwo Love, starring Dhanveerrah and Sreeleela in the lead, and releasing this weekend.

"The producers and I had met Sreeleela for another film, but our producer Venkat sir told Sreeleela's mother that the story of By Two Love was apt for her.He gave her a hint of the storyline and she loved it. As for Dhanveerrah, I was to have made Bumper with him, but that didn't work out and since I wanted someone with a mass image, he worked out perfectly," says Santhu.

As for the story, Santhu reveals, "The film is about a girl who doesn't look at family and ties as important and a guy who shies away from the idea of responsibility. They come to the city to live with freedom and privacy. The two characters meet and get connected as both are similar and dislike the idea of marriage and kids. The story explores the future and how they experiment with their lives."

With romance, emotions, action and music, Santhu says he has a proper entertainer. "By Two Love may have a young title, but it also has a lot of emotions and drama for family audiences. I guarantee that the last 20 minutes will bring tears to the eyes. I think that this is going to be the biggest strength of the film that will work for everyone. I feel this film will reach all kinds of audiences, as we have all elements in it," he says.

The director is all praise for his technical team. "Cinematographer Mahendra Simha and I go back a decade and he has shot the posters of all my films. I am so happy that I could work with him in this film. Ajaneesh Loknath is a magician and has given audiences a treat. Editor KM Prakash and I have worked together all these years, and he knows what exactly I want. Another big highlight in the film is the art department, as we have shot nearly the entire film on the set, with both the office and apartment settings being created especially for the film,” Santhu adds.
