The happiness and celebrations have not stopped in the Sarja and
Sundar Raj households since the birth of
Meghana Raj and late
Chiranjeevi Sarja's son. The families have considered the arrival of the young child as the rebirth of Chiranjeevi, who they fondly call as Chiru, in their lives.
Chiranjeevi succumbed to a cardiac arrest in June, when he was just 35 years of age.
Now, the families are gearing up to celebrated the tottilu shastra or the cradle ceremony of the young arrival at Sundar Raj's residence.
Incidentally, before the birth of the child, a picture of his uncle
Dhruva Sarja picking up a silver cradle as a gift for him went viral on social media. The ceremony will be held on Thursday with the presence of the loved ones in the home.
Earlier, Sundar Raj had told mediapersons, "We brought him home during the auspicious Godhuli
muhurta and it is symbolic of my son-in-law returning home as a calf. This birth of my grandson has made all of us believe in God all the more as we all know that it is Chiru that we see every time that we see the little one. We look at the new arrival as the one who brings happiness to everyone in the family."
He had also revealed his nickname for his grandson. "I have chosen to call him Chintu. He is Chiru's son Chintu. I have chosen Chintu as he is here to take away all our chinthe (worries). We are all very thrilled with his arrival," he had said He had also added that the grandson will have his naming ceremony in a grand manner shortly.
